Patty Griffin

A theatrical version of the hit 1950s TV show I Love Lucy continues its run through the weekend at Walton Arts Center. Our contributor Michelle Parks had good things to say about it.

Legendary songwriter and Grammy-winner Patty Griffin will perform at George’s Majestic Lounge Friday night, with acclaimed songwriter Anais Mitchell. Mitchell will also play the Fayetteville Roots Festival later this year. Last we heard, Friday’s show is sold out.

There’s a big show at Smoke & Barrel Friday night with excellent local band SW/MM/NG and Denver-based band Rubedo. Locals Monster Heart and Messy Sparkles are set to open. Admission is $3.
