Over 17 local artists will debut new work inspired by 80s culture and classic video games this month.
Members of Goop Troupe, a Fayetteville-based artist collective, are planning the special art show and sale for Friday, Feb. 21 at the Arkadia Retrocade, 1478 N. College Ave., inside Evelyn Hills Shopping Center.
Participating artists include Elizabeth Sharp, Jon Peven, Terry Thielen, R. Zachary Williams, Lauren Kennedy, Robe Flax, Owen Buffington, Rachel Bernstein, Wanbli Gamache, Nich Shoulders, Alyssa Draper, Caleb Quin, Jeanie Hall, Neon Glittery, Paul Herrera, Faith Guines, and Ethan Charles Fowler, with additional artists expected to be added between now and the event.
The show begins at 7 p.m. and admission is free. Unlimited plays on the venue’s vintage arcade game collection costs only $5.
