Acclaimed singer/songwriter Lyle Lovett coming to Walton Arts Center

Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter, composer, and actor Lyle Lovett is coming to Fayetteville his spring.

Lovett & His Acoustic Group are set to perform at Walton Arts Center on Tuesday, May 6, officials announced today.

Since releasing his self-titled debut album in 1986, Lovett has become one of the most respected songwriters in the business, adored by fans and hailed by critics for his blend of country, folk, swing, gospel and blues genres. Garden and Gun magazine recently called him “one of America’s most beloved singer/songwriters.”

He’s released 14 albums, been in a bunch of movies, is a four-time Grammy Award-winner, and was the winner of the Americana Music Association’s inaugural Trailblazer Award in 2007.
