Sports

Arkansas fired Tom Collen as its women’s basketball coach, it was announced on Friday.

Arkansas basketball freshman Bobby Portis was named to the All-SEC second team and the SEC All-Freshman team earlier today. A few hours later, he grabbed a spot on the U.S. Basketball Writers Association All-District VII team.

In other awards news, Razorback basketball senior co-captain Kikko Haydar was named to the 2014 SEC Community Service team for the second year in a row.
