Organizers of the TEDx event held last year in Fayetteville have found some more ideas worth spreading.

A second round of independently organized local TED talks is set for Friday, April 11 at Starr Theatre inside the Walton Arts Center.

The event, which features two sessions of local speakers, includes talks intended to “educate, inspire, and motivate.”

Twelve speakers are set to give talks at the event, including local creative strategist and brand consultant Bryan Gott, Fayettechill co-owner Devin O’Dea, and business coach Amy Reeves Robinson.

This year’s TEDx theme is “Mind Shift,” meaning each talk will be centered around challenging the way people think about things.

Tickets are $25 per session, which each include six speakers. Entry into both sessions costs $45. The first session is from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Friday afternoon, and the second session is from 6 to 9:30 p.m. that evening.
