Four-lane cross-section plans for Rupple Road

City of Fayetteville

The upcoming Rupple Road extension will be built as a four-lane boulevard, it was decided this week.

The first of four spring bulky waste cleanup events is scheduled for Saturday.

The Fayetteville Animal Shelter will be closed Saturday while the floors are renovated.

A second round of independently organized local TED talks is set for next month at the Walton Arts Center.

Sports

California advanced to the second round of the NIT last night, meaning the Bears will host Arkansas Monday night at 10 p.m.

The Arkansas baseball team defeated Grambling State yesterday 8-0 to complete a two-game mid-week sweep in Baum Stadium.

The Razorback softball team posted a 4-0 win over Memphis last night.
