Several former cast members of the longstanding NBC show Saturday Night Live have made their way to Fayetteville over the years.
It’s less common, however, for a current cast member to make it to town.
That’ll happen this weekend when Nasim Pedrad makes an appearance at the University of Arkansas.
Pedrad will perform at the Verizon Ballroom inside the Arkansas Union at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 26. Current SNL writer Claire Mulaney will open the show.
Pedrad is a five-year veteran of the show, best known for her impressions of Kim Kardashian, Barbara Walters, and Arianna Huffington. She’s also the voice behind several characters in the Hulu original series The Awesomes.
The performances on Saturday night are sponsored by University Programs Comedy Committee, and are free to University of Arkansas students. Admission for the general public is also free, and contingent upon seating availability.
