A portion of Government Avenue just south of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard is set to close this week while city crews work build a crossing for the upcoming Tsa La Gi Trail.
Work is scheduled to begin at around 7 a.m. Tuesday, May 6 and continue until 3 p.m. Friday, May 9.
Drivers who are traveling north on Government Avenue will be detoured through the alley to Hill Street and then to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Anyone wanting to travel south will be detoured to Hill Street then through the alley back to Government Avenue.
The Tsa La Gi Trail is currently under construction, and will extend west from Frisco Trail past Razorback Road to Hollywood Avenue.
