Cletus Got Shot

Walton Arts Center’s Artosphere Celebration is underway, and there’s a celebration planned to commemorate the festival on Tyson Plaza in front of the arts center Friday. The event includes live music by Cletus Got Shot, food, beverages, and free much from Patrick Dougherty’s stickwork installation. It all starts at 5:30 p.m. Later on at the WAC, acclaimed dance group Trey McIntyre Project will perform.

Also in music, there’s a rock show at The Lightbulb Club with Moon Honey, Llinda, and Brothel Sprouts, country-rocker Barrett Baber is at George’s, and Smoke & Barrel has former Techno Squid Eats Parliament singer Aaron Sarlo’s new band, The Dangerous Idiots.

Witchsister

Everyone’s gonna be at The Farmers’ Market on the Fayetteville Square Saturday morning.

Also Saturday morning, Ozark Natural Foods is hosting a Tour de Farms event, where they will visit several of their local food suppliers. Here’s more info about the tour.

The Artist Laboratory Theatre event we wrote about earlier this week is also Saturday night at Fayetteville Underground.

Local rocker Benjamin Del Shreve will play for the first time in a while at George’s Majestic Lounge Saturday night. Tickets are available here.

Smoke & Barrel has locals Eyes of Iron and Witchsister, there’s a burlesque show at The Lightbulb Club with Violetta Lotus Burlesque, and Kingfish has Stephen Neeper and the Wild Hearts Saturday night.

Block Street Block Party

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for a Block Party.

Block Street Block Party returns for a fourth installment on Sunday, and the stage is set once again for a magical day on Block Avenue. There are nearly 50 bands, almost 100 art, craft, and food vendors, a mini-arcade, a velcro wall, and about a zillion other things planned at the event, set for 11 a.m. until dark along the street. We put together a guide to all the fun earlier this week.
