The Arkansas Music Pavilion has added two new performances to the 2014 roster.

Latin music singer-songwriter Pepe Aguilar will play on Saturday Aug. 2, and comedians Cheech & Chong will perform Saturday, Aug. 23, Walton Arts Center officials announced today.

From the WAC:

Pepe Aguilar is a Grammy Award-winning Latin music singer and songwriter with global sales of over 12 million records. Born to Mexican icons Antonio Aguilar and Flor Silverstre, Aguilar has spent his life studying his craft and working to unite the past, present and future of Mexican music. The winner of eight Grammy Awards and 15 Billboard #1’s, Aguilar is the most awarded Regional Mexican Artist in the industry. He was awarded his star of the Walk of Fame in Hollywood in 2012.

The iconic comedy duo Cheech & Chong defined an era with their hilariously irreverent, satirical and counter-culture routines. In 2009, the duo made history when comedy partners Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong announced their first reunion tour in more than 25 years, selling out shows from coast to coast. For Cheech & Chong 2014 tour, they’re joined by multi-platinum-selling WAR, the original street band that’s been sharing its timeless music and message of brotherhood and harmony for more than four decades before millions across the globe. Some of their hits include “Why Can’t We Be Friends” and “Low Rider.”

Pepe Aguilar tickets range from $24 to $44, and go on sale at 9 a.m. Friday, May 30. Cheech & Chong tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. Friday, June 6, and range from $49 to $69.

Tickets can be purchased by calling 479-443-5600 or by visiting amptickets.com.
