City Council members last week approved a proposed set of changes that allow the Walton Arts Center to act as a regional entity. Here’s more action taken during the meeting.

A 17-year-old senior at Fayetteville High School recently qualified for the U.S. Junior Water Ski Team at the Juniors Team Trial.

Fayetteville police responded to a bomb threat last Wednesday at Walmart on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Arkansas men’s basketball sophomore forward Bobby Portis and junior wing Michael Qualls were invited to attend the LeBron James Skills Academy starting on Wednesday in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Arkansas running backs Alex Collins and Jonathan Williams were named to the 78-man watch list for the 78th annual Maxwell Award.
