It looks like Starbucks is planning its fourth location in Fayetteville.
We found plans today submitted to the city for a new 6,000-square-foot building in front of Walmart Neighborhood Market on Wedington Drive. According to the preliminary site plan, nearly one-third of the building is reserved for a proposed Starbucks, with the remaining 4,200 square feet set aside for another unnamed tenant.
The building would be located at the southwest corner of Wedington and Timberland Lane, a road currently used as the main entrance for the Neighborhood Market. It would sit across from a recently completed First Security Bank, leaving enough room for another development to the west.
City planners are scheduled to first review the plans on July 16.
Starbucks currently operates three other locations in Fayetteville, including one on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, one near the intersection of College and Joyce, and another location on the University of Arkansas campus.
