Legendary guitarist and multiple Grammy winner Santana will perform at the Arkansas Music Pavilion on Sunday, Oct. 5, officials announced today.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and music is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

Tickets cost $39 to $129, and go on sale at 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 1. Tickets can be purchased by calling 479-443-5600 or visiting arkansasmusicpavilion.com.

Santana has sold more than 100 million records, and has won multiple Grammy Awards and Latin Grammys since the release of the self-titled Santana in 1969. The 1999 superstar collaboration album, Supernatural, won nine Grammys alone.

Rolling Stone magazine ranked Carlos Santana No. 20 on its list of “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.”

He received the Billboard Century Award in 1996, was ushered into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998, and received the Billboard Latin Music Awards’ Lifetime Achievement honor in 2009.

Santana’s latest release, CORAZÓN, is another collaborative effort, this time with some the biggest names in Latin music, including Chocquibtown, Gloria Estefan, Juanes, Miguel, Niña Pastori, Pitbull, Soledad, Diego Torres, Samuel Rosa of Skank, and more.
