Shogun of Fayetteville is expanding their craft beer selection, and they’re celebrating the new brews with a beer tasting event.

The restaurant has partnered with Core Brewing and Distilling Co. to host a three-hour tasting event from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, July 31 on the restaurant’s patio.

During the event, Core will debut their new Easy Living IPA and Waterfall Wheat. A representative from the brewery will be on hand to answer questions and give samples of several of their other beers as well, including their Coconut Stout, Raspberry Lager, Barley Wine, Imperial Red IPA, Bohemith Pilsner, ESP, and Leg Hound Lager.

The restaurant just upgraded its system to hold six more taps, which doubles their current selection. The plan is to fill the new taps with craft beer, including many local selections.

Admission to the tasting event is $5 per table, or free with the purchase of one Core beer.

For more information, contact the restaurant at 479-442-9999.
