University Avenue will soon close for two weeks from Dickson to Center streets for sidewalk construction.
A crew with the city’s Transportation Division is set to replace a deteriorating sidewalk on the east side of University between Dickson and Whiteside streets. Work will begin Monday, Aug. 11 and last about two weeks, according to a city news release.

Street closures are planned from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each weekday. The street will be open all day on weekends. Detour routes will be marked.
