Ice cream fans, get hungry. The Washington County Historical Society’s 43rd annual Ice Cream Social is this weekend.
The event, which runs from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16 on the historic Headquarter’s House grounds (118 E. Dickson St.), aims to raise money and awareness for the historical society’s educational programs, dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of Washington County history.

Attendees can enjoy homemade cakes, Hiland Dairy ice cream and live music by local musicians East of Zion and Allison Williams.
Admission is $5 for adults, $2.50 for kids 6-12, and free for kids under 6. Family tickets are also available for $15.
