Shogun’s first ever beer tasting event held last month on their patio was a smashing success. So much so, that they’re going to make a monthly event out of it.

The restaurant this week announced they’ll host a beer tasting from 6-8 p.m. on the last Thursday of every month, with the next event set for Thursday, Aug. 28.

The second event will include samples of six more beers by local brewery, Core Brewing & Distilling Co. (specific beers will be announced soon). A representative from the brewery will be on hand to discuss the beers, and answer questions those in attendance may have.

Shogun just upgraded its system to hold six more taps, which doubles their current selection. The plan is to fill the new taps with craft beer, including many local selections.

Admission to the tasting event is $5 per table, or free with the purchase of one Core beer.

Shogun is located at 4096 N Steele Blvd. in Fayetteville. For more information, contact the restaurant at 479-442-9999.
