City officials last week held a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the early construction stages of the new College Marketplace project, set to be built in north Fayetteville.

Three Fayetteville City Council seats have at least three official candidates, now that municipal filings have closed in Washington County.

A robocall placed to area voters at around noon Monday urged residents to speak out against Fayetteville’s proposed anti-discrimination ordinance.
