If you missed the Tontitown Grape Festival earlier this month, there’ll be plenty of cotton candy and carnival rides at the Washington County Fair, which opens tonight.

City officials yesterday cancelled a groundbreaking ceremony for the planned downtown parking deck after construction bids came in several million dollars over budget.

The central core of the University of Arkansas campus became a walk-only zone yesterday. No bicycle or skateboard riding will be allowed.

The indie music scene in Fayetteville got some national attention in CMJ’s ‘Scene Report’ last week, thanks to local band, Sw/mm/ng.
