USA TODAY just released its nominees for the Best College Town Weekend travel award contest, and of course, Fayetteville made the list. Readers can cast one vote per day through Monday, Oct. 6.

Officials will kick off an official branding campaign for Midtown Fayetteville this weekend at Evelyn Hills Shopping Center during the Midtown Music Showcase.

Walmart is listed as a developer requesting a rezoning of 6.16 acres along Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard between Hill and Government avenues.
