The Fayetteville Advertising & Promotion Commission is losing its longtime leader, Marilyn Heifner, who resigned as executive director after 22 years with the commission.

Tim Hudson will serve another term on the Fayetteville School Board after winning his re-election bid over challenger Tim Hollis yesterday.

The A&P Commission last month discussed a new design for the Fayetteville flag, but decided this week to put that idea on hold.

City Council members last night voted to keep Fayetteville’s property tax rate the same in 2015. Full agenda recap here.

The 2015 Wakarusa Music and Camping Festival will take place June 4-7, organizers announced last week.
