A new place to buy more than sixty varieties of olive oils and balsamic vinegars is now open in Fayetteville.

Old World Imports, located at 203 N. College Ave., is loaded with affordable, pure and freshly cut high-polyphenol extra olive oils from all over the world, as well as more than 40 varieties of balsamic vinegers all the way from Moderna, Italy.

The new store also carries a handful of other locally-made products, including pottery from Teresa Griffith, local goats and cows milk cheeses from White River Creamery, locally made salsas, and more.

This week, the store received a shipment of brand new products. New olive oils include Vanilla Bean, Tuscan Herb, Herbs de Provence, and Lemon Pepper.

New balsamic vinegar flavors in this week include Green Chili, Huckleberry, Mango, and Jalapeno Line white balsamics, and Maple Syrup and Black Truffle dark balsamics.

All of the flavors are available to try in the store’s tasting room, open Tuesday – Friday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

It’s basically like a candy store for grown ups, that makes cooking (and eating) so much more exciting.
