Voters will decide the fate of Fayetteville’s new civil rights ordinance. Enough signatures were certified to trigger a public vote to uphold or overturn the anti-disrcrimination law passed by the Fayetteville City Council last month.

West Mountain Brewing Co. hired a new brewer after Will Gallaspy moved to New York for another job.

Public meetings scheduled this week include City Council candidate forums, Active Transportation Advisory Committee and more.

South Fayetteville brew pub Tanglewood Branch Beer Co. announced on Facebook that it will close its doors for good sometime this week.
