A lawsuit filed Friday in Washington County aims to block a Dec. 9 special election that would uphold or repeal Fayetteville’s new civil rights ordinance.

UA students preparing to move off campus are invited to learn about local housing options at an off-campus living fair on Wednesday.

Aldermen agreed last week to use $2.1 million in reserves to build a new parking deck about a block away from Dickson Street in Fayetteville.

Public meetings left this week include a City Council agenda-setting session, Telecommunications Board and more.

Flu vaccines are now available in the Allergy, Travel and Immunization Clinic at the Pat Walker Health Center. Individuals can receive their vaccine Monday-Friday from 3-5 p.m. with no appointment necessary.
