Ever seen that movie Old School? What about The Hangover? We ask, because the band from those movies is performing at the Walton Arts Center Friday night. They’re called The Dan Band. Here’s some ticket info.

Also Friday night, comedian Pete Holmes (of the Pete Holmes Show, and the You Made it Weird with Pete Holmes podcast) will perform in the ballroom at the Arkansas Union. Here’s more info on that.

The annual Lights of the Ozarks lighting ceremony and parade is Friday night in Downtown Fayetteville as well. The parade starts at 6 p.m., and the lights will be switched on for the first time once the parade hits the square shortly after. Here’s the parade route and more information.

There’s a benefit show at Smoke & Barrel for local resident Steve Hagood, who lost a leg in a work-related accident recently. The “One Foot in the Grave” benefit will include music by Shawn James & The Shapeshifters, Thunderlizards, and Archbuilders, and all the money raised will help pay for Steve’s new leg. Here’s more info.
