Friday events, Dec. 5

Walton Arts Center has a new holiday-themed show by famed comedy school Second City this weekend. It’s called The Second City’s Nut-Cracking Holiday Revue, and there are three chances to see it Friday and Saturday. More info can be found here.

TheatreSquared’s Around the World in 80 Days also continues through the weekend at Nadine Baum Studios. More info.

There are several local arts and craft markets set for this weekend. We outlined those here, but to recap, The Little Craft Show has their preview event on Friday, the Holiday Art Sale (previously Block Street Art Sale) begins Friday, and Fayetteville Underground has local art for sale as well.

George’s has a pop show with former teen idol Aaron Carter, and Ryleigh’s has a fun-sounding show with Yokohama Drifters, Dump Truck Boys and Brandon D Adkins.

There’s a benefit for a local who was injured in a motorcycle accident at Mickey Finn’s Friday night as well. The bar is raising money for Coleson Burns to help offset medical expenses associated with the accident. Here’s more info.
