AD: NWA Arts Foundation to perform The Nutcracker Dec. 20 in Fayetteville

The Northwest Arkansas Arts Foundation will perform their own version of the holiday classic The Nutcracker on Saturday, Dec. 20 in Fayetteville.

The show is an all local production featuring a cast of over 100 performers ranging from 3-years-old to adult. It is a collaborative effort with a host of local groups participating, including actors from Arts Live Theatre, Actors Casting Agency, local marching bands, and almost all area dance studios. It isn’t an “all ballet” production, either. Terra Nova Tribal Belly Dance group is also performing and Joey Williams (an actual magician) is performing as well! It’s a family friendly show you don’t want to miss!

Performaces will be showcased in Fayetteville High School’s beautiful new Performing Arts Center, with two shows on December 20th; at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Shuttle service for both shows will be available to assist with parking, with shuttles running from the pick up point (to be announced) to the performing arts center the day of the show.

Run time for the show is right around an hour and a half.

Admission is $30 for ages 4 and up, and children 3-and-under get in free (but will need a ticket.) Use the keyword “Flyer” and get 10% off on tickets!

Tickets are available at NWAAF.org, 479-316-2247, or in person at the door the evening of the show.
