Flyer Guide: New Year’s Eve 2014

Hope you bought a pair of goofy 2015 glasses, Fayetteville. It’s time to party.

New Year’s Eve is just a few days away, and we’ve compiled a list of as many local celebrations as we could find to help you ring in 2015 in style.

We’ll likely be adding to this list over the next few days, but here are the live music and entertainment events we’ve found so far. Feel free to let us know about anything we’ve missed in the comments.

Greenhouse Grille

Greenhouse Grille will serve a special menu all day on New Year’s Eve, with live music by Block Street Hot Club. Reservations are strongly recommended.

JJ’s Grill

JJ’s has a free show with Trey O’Dell, and drink specials all night, and a champagne toast at midnight. The music starts at around 9 p.m.

Smoke & Barrel

Smoke & Barrel Tavern hosts locals 1 Oz. Jig playing a tribute set to WAR with special guests Timothy Grace on keys and Clare Starr on Bass. Music starts around 9 p.m.

Maxine’s Tap Room

Maxine’s Tap Room will ring in the New Year with live music by Cutty Rye. As always, they’ll have the bar decked out to the nines, and there’s no cover charge.

George’s Majestic Lounge

George’s is celebrating the new year with local music by Space Camp, Mountain Sprout, Foley’s Van, and The Irie Lions. Tickets are $10, on sale now at George’s ticketing site.

Fayetteville Square

There’s a big New Year’s Eve celebration planned around the Fayetteville square with Last Night Fayetteville. The event is headlined by local bands Shawn James & The Shapeshifters, Randall Shreve and the Sideshow, Brick Fields and the Chose Ones, as well as a giant puppet parade around the square, fireworks, and more planned at various venues around the square. There’s also a “Hog Drop” (think of the ball drop in Times Square with a giant Razorback instead of the disco ball) to help with the countdown to midnight.

Here’s the full schedule of events. Tickets are $20, or $75 for VIP’s.

Springdale Holiday Inn

A local radio station is hosting a party at the Springdale Holiday Inn. The event will include live music by Ultrasuade, a champagne toast at midnight, and the hotel will also ave sleeping room specials for those who have a little too much fun. Tickets are $20 per person, or $30 for two people.

The Lightbulb Club

There’s a rock show at the Lightbulb Club with locals Teenagers and Thunderlizards. Admission is $5, and there’s a toast at midnight. Here’s the Facebook event.

Ryleigh’s

Ryleigh’s will ring in the New Year to the sounds of DJ Zac Slade and Doohickey. It’s a free show. Music starts at 10 p.m.

Farmington Class Event Center

The Farmington, AR Class Event Center will host the city’s first ever New Year’s Eve Celebration with local party band E & The Boys. Farmington is a dry city, so it’s a BYOB event. Tickets are $10 in advance, or $15 the day of the event. For tickets, call 479-236-1007.

C4 Nightclub and Lounge

There’s a new dance club in the space formerly home to Speakeasy at 509 W. Spring St., and they’re hosting a NYE grand opening and dance party Wednesday night. The cover is $8 for folks 21 and older, and $10 for 18-21 year-olds.

Ella’s

Ella’s Restaurant is planning a special New Year’s Eve meal with a five-course a la carte menu. Call 479-582-0400 for reservations (recommended).

Hookah Java

Hookah Java will host live music by local duo Voxana. Ticket packages are $18-50.

Club Push

Club Push is hosting their annual Red Party, with music by resident DJ E-Yo, and a champagne toast at midnight.
