The Roots, STS9, Rebelution to play Wakarusa 2015

Wakarusa 2015 will include performances by The Roots, STS9, Rebelution and more.

The news came Wednesday in the first of three rounds of lineup announcements on Facebook.

Rounds two and three are set for Jan. 14 (here) and Jan. 21 (here).

Other acts listed in Wednesday’s announcement include Young the Giant, The Devil Makes Three, Paper Diamond, Galactic, Old 97’s, Ozomatli, Quixotic, and Savoy.

This year’s festival will take place June 4-7 on Mulberry Mountain near Ozark, Arkansas. Tickets are on sale now.

Local bands hoping to play at Wakarusa have until Jan. 16 to sign up for a chance to win a performance slot during the festival.
