The Walton Arts Center has been hinting about a new concert announcement for the summer lineup at the AMP, and it finally came on Monday.

The venue today announced that South Carolina Christian rockers Needtobreathe will bring their Tour De Compadres to town for a show on Friday, April 24.

The band, who last played the AMP in 2011, is coming off a big year in which their latest album, Rivers In the Wasteland debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart. They were also in town for a October 2013 performance at George’s Majestic Lounge.

Their new tour features support from former Fayettevillian-turned-pop-star Ben Rector, Nashville rock band Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors , and indie trio, Colony House.

Ticket prices have not been announced, but will go on sale at 9 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 6 at amptickets.com.
