Weekend Flyer: Feb. 13-15, 2015

Friday events, Feb. 13

Acclaimed songwriter and frequent Fayetteville visitor Todd Snider is back in town for a show at George’s Majestic Lounge Friday night. Tickets were $25, before they completely sold out (Hope you got yours already).

Local ska/punk band Six Hung Sprung is reuniting for an evening at Smoke & Barrel Friday night. They were insanely popular back in the 2000s, and with a full horn section featuring a trumpet and two trombones, they’re easily the horn-y-est (sorry) band in Fayetteville’s recent history. Admission is $5.

Also back together for a show is Teenagers, who are having a bit of an identity crisis after a Vermont band of the same name sent them some kind of cease & decist letter recently. For now, they’re calling themselves Ghost Chubb, and they’ll be at The Lightbulb Club with Ten High and Prahnas Friday night. We can’t find a cover for this one, but it’s probably $5.
