Update: City officials said collections will resume on Tuesday, Feb. 17.
Trash, recycling and yard waste collections will be delayed this week for both residents and commercial customers due to the poor road conditions in Fayetteville.
According to a city news release, crews with the city’s Solid Waste Division will reevaluate the roads each morning with hopes of resuming collections as soon as possible.

Officials asked citizens to place all containers at the curb or designated service area so they’ll be ready when crews can safely make collections.
