Do you like soup? Do you want to eat some? Not now, but later. Like on Sunday?

If you’re nodding your head like crazy, we’ve got great news for you.

Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families will host their annual Soup Sunday Fundraiser on March 1 at the Northwest Arkansas Convention Center.

The event, now in its 14th year, will include soup, breads and desserts from over 35 area restaurants, including Bordinos, Greenhouse Grille and others. There will also be a silent auction, live music, and plenty of activities for the kids.

Tikets are $30 at the door for adults ($25 in advance), and $5 for children ages 5-12. All of the proceeds form the event benefit Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families. The event will begin at 4 p.m. and run until 7 p.m.

Founded in 1977 by Hillary Rodham (Clinton), AACF is a non-profit advocacy organization which encourages public policy in Arkansas that will benefit children and their families. Its mission statement is “to protect and promote through research, education and advocacy the rights and well-being of Arkansas children and their families, to assure that they have the opportunity to lead healthy and productive lives.”

Oh, and bring a muffin tin. Trust us (See above for why).

For more information about the event, visit aradvocates.org, or call (479) 927-9800.
