The weather is looking pretty great this weekend for a bike ride. As it happens, there’s a fun one happening in Fayetteville.
The Bicycle Coalition of the Ozarks will host their 10th annual Highway 71 Classic ride on Sunday, March 15.
The event, which serves as a fundraiser and membership drive for the BCO, offers two “out-and-back” rides; a 32-mile flat ride to Brentwood and a more challenging 71-mile hilly route to Mountainburg.
Both routes will take off from Walker Park beginning at 9 a.m. Registration begins at 8 a.m.
Admission to the ride is $30 for an individual ($15 for students), and also serves as a year of membership dues to the BCO.
