In case you haven’t noticed the daffodils poking out of the ground and the trees in bloom all over town, let us be the ones to tell you that spring is springing all over the place in Fayetteville.

That means it’s time for the return of Fayetteville’s favorite downtown monthly outdoor festival, First Thursday.

Organizers will kick off the 2015 season on Thursday, April 2 with an outdoor art walk, gallery openings, and more on the Fayetteville square.

The event, scheduled for the first Thursday of the month through the summer, will also include live music on the main stage in front of the Fayetteville Town Center.

In April, the event has partnered with Blues in the Natural State to bring renowned Mississippi bluesman Mr. Sipp to the main stage, along with local band and Ozark Blues Society’s annual Blues Challenge winners, Amanda Rey and The West Street Blues Band.

Future main stage music headliners this year include Leah & The Mojo Doctors, Farmer & The Markets, Arkansauce, Cutty Rye, Ultra Suede, and Got it Covered.

The festival will also feature a monthly local brewery in the charity beer garden, food trucks, and dozens of artists, crafters, and makers set up in booths around the square.

First Thursday events are scheduled on April 2, May 7, June 4, July 2, Aug. 6, Sept. 3, and Oct. 1.

For more information about the festival, visit firstthursdayfayetteville.com.
