Legendary rockers Whitesnake are coming to the Walmart AMP on Aug. 15.

The band this week announced a handful of new dates for their upcoming 2015 Purple Tour, including stops in Florida, Louisiana, Texas, and Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Founded in 1978 by Deep Purple singer David Coverdale, Whitesnake has released 11 albums, including their 1987 self-title record which included Hot 100 hits “Here I Go Again” (No. 1) and “Is This Love” (No. 2).

The group will release their first new studio album in four years on May 19. The Purple Album is a re-imagination of classic songs from Coverdale’s time with Deep Purple. The Purple Tour will feature Whitesnake’s biggest hits and songs from the upcoming tribute album.

Tickets, which start at $31, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 10 and can be purchased by calling the Walton Arts Center box office at 479-443-5600, or by visiting amptickets.com.
