The Washington Elementary PTO will host the 12th annual Tour of Homes event next month.
The self-guided tour begins at 12 p.m. Saturday, May 9, and features six homes:
- 671 S. Block Ave.
- 1400 W. Cleveland St.
- 903 N. Gregg Ave.
- 1018 N. Sunset Dr.
- 1708 N. Walnut Ave.
- 428 S. West Ave.
The Tour of Homes is a fundraiser for the school, providing needed items not accounted for in the operating budget.
Funds from past events have helped provide a climbing wall for the gym, updates to the music room, and snacks for the various after-school programs.
Tickets are $20 in advance, and are available at the Washington Elementary School office, French Metro Antiques, The Gift House, or the Bank of Fayetteville on the downtown square.
Tickets can also be purchased the day of the event for $25 at any of the six participating homes.
