Thousands of locals turned out for the 2015 Block Street Block Party

As it has every year for the past five years now, Block Street Block Party once again rocked Block Avenue on a Sunday night in May.
This year’s event, held on May 17, featured more than 30 bands, 100 vendors, eight breweries, several dogs, nearly a dozen food trucks, a handful of belly dancers, two bouncy houses, and countless artists and crafters.
In all, organizers are estimating between 10-15,000 folks turned out for the event. Not too shabby.
Despite lots of rain the night before, the weather cooperated during the nine-hour event for a beautiful day once again, and a good time was had by pretty much everyone.
Below are plenty of photos for those who attended to look for yourselves in, and to make those who missed out kind of jealous that they didn’t make it out this year.
