Comedian, writer, and actor Ralphie May is coming to Fayetteville this weekend.

The funny man will perform two shows at the UARK Bowl on Saturday, May 30. 100% of the ticket sales from the show will benefit the family of Johnson County deputy Sonny Smith, who was killed in the line of duty last week.

May, who grew up in Clarksville, Arkansas, got his start in comedy at just 17 years-old when he won a contest to open for his idol, Sam Kinison. He became a household name in 2003 when he was chosen for season one of Comedy Central’s Last Comic Standing where he was the runner up in the competition to comic Dat Phan.

Since then, May has made countless late-night television appearances, recorded four hour-long specials for Comedy Central, appeared in a handful of films, and is the co-host of the Perfect 10 Podcast with his wife and fellow comedian, Lahna Turner.

The local performances are scheduled at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Tickets are $25, and are on sale now at Stubs.net.
