Sad news, burger fans.

Wedington Drive burger joint The Burger Patti has closed for business.

Several Flyer readers sent tips last week telling us that the restaurant had closed, and we stopped by and saw for ourselves on Tuesday. The doors were locked, the lights were off, and the signs had been removed from the exterior of the building.

Green Submarine owner Nathan Jendeski, who leased the space to the owners of the Burger Patti, also confirmed the closure.

The restaurant was located at 3327 W. Wedington Dr., and specialized in hand-pattied burgers and fresh-cut french fries.
