Sidewalk work to close Highland Avenue for two weeks

Sidewalk work will close a section of Highland Avenue for about two weeks, according to a city news release.

Crews with the city’s Transportation Division will begin replacing the deteriorated sidewalk and curb along the west side of Highland Avenue in front of Washington Elementary School on Monday, June 8.

The work will close Highland Avenue from Maple to Lafayette streets weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for approximately two weeks.
