AD: Make the Kindest Cut

  • Paid Post · Wednesday, Jun 17, 2015

As part of #NWAChampionship week, tournament presenting sponsor P&G is proud to host a Pantene Beautiful Lengths ponytail cutting event on the evening of June 24 at the Walmart AMP.

About 40 percent of all Americans will be diagnosed with cancer at some time in their lives. A common side-effect of women undergoing cancer treatments is hair loss. During this trying time, a real-hair wig can allow a woman to face the world with confidence. Pantene Beautiful Lengths collects ponytails to create these real-hair wigs for women living in Northwest Arkansas.

For the first time in the event’s history, Pantene Beautiful Lengths will be held at the Walmart AMP and will include an exciting community cut featuring LPGA Tour professionals and other generous hair donors. The ponytails will then be made into wigs and given to the local American Cancer Society Wig Bank.

It’s not too late for hair donors or stylists to sign up to participate in Pantene Beautiful Lengths. If you have eight inches of untreated hair you are willing to donate or would like to style donors’ hair, please visit www.beautifullengthsnwa.com to sign up. Donors and stylists will receive a t-shirt, goodie bag and two tournament ticket. Hair donors will also receive a free style from local hairstylists at the event. Help make the kindest cut for women battling cancer.
