The city’s “Meet Your Trails” series continues this weekend with a tour of a recently completed section of Town Branch Trail in south Fayetteville.

The once-a-month summer series is designed to introduce residents to trails they might not know about yet.

The tour is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Saturday, June 27 at the north pavilion in Walker Park, located at 10 W. 15th St.

The 3-mile tour, led by chief of staff Don Marr, will leave from Walker Park and cross 15th Street before traveling along the southernmost section of Frisco Trail. From there the tour will continue onto the Town Branch Trail to Greathouse Park, and then return to Walker Park.

A different trail tour – varying in length, terrain, and difficulty – will be led once each month through August.

All tours in the series are free and open to the public.
