Aaron Sarlo & The Dangerous Idiots

Friday night is shaping up to be a decent night for live music in Fayetteville.

Little Rock musician Aaron Sarlo (Techno Squid Eats Parliament) and his new band, The Dangerous Idiots will perform at Smoke & Barrel Tavern Friday night.

Also Friday night, locals Boom Kinetic are back at George’s Majestic Lounge for a show. They usually fill the place up on the weekends.

Saturday events, July 11

JJ’s has a big show on Saturday night, with Paul Pfau, contestant on NBC’s The Voice performing with “the Voice of Jonesboro,” Callie Marae. There’s usually no cover at JJ’s, and that looks to be the case for this show as well.

George’s has local favorites, Mountain Sprout, back in town for a performance Saturday night. Admission is $10 at the door.

Randall Shreve has a new band called The Devilles, and they’ll be performing Saturday night at Ryleigh’s. He’s also working on a new album, due out next month.

The Fayetteville Public Library’s Mountain Street Stage series continues this week with the Sons of Otis Malone. The show starts at 2 p.m. in the Walker Room, and it’s free to attend.

Sunday night, there’s a big metal show at George’s Majestic Lounge with Texas Hippie Coalition, Red Sky Mary, Day After Mourning, and The Violet Hour.
