Hogs picked 4th in the west by SEC media

The pics are in, and it looks like the SEC media is pretty high on the Hogs leading up to the upcoming 2015 season.

But in one of the most brutal conferences in college football, that would only be good enough for a 4th place finish, right in the middle of the seven-team standings in the SEC West.

That’s where the media predicted the Hogs will end up in this year, in their preseason predictions published on Thursday at the conclusion of this week’s SEC Media Days.

The media picked the Hogs to finish behind Alabama, Auburn, and LSU. Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and Mississippi State were chosen to finish at the bottom of the division.

Six members of the 225 media members polled chose the Hogs to win the SEC West, and three members predicted the Hogs would win the overall SEC crown this year.

The Razorbacks will kick off their 2015 season on Sept. 5 versus the Miners of UTEP at Razorback Stadium.
