Barrett Baber to play make-up show at Gulley Park Thursday

  • By Dustin Bartholomew · Tuesday, Jul 28, 2015

Fayetteville songwriter Barrett Baber will play a free show at Gulley Park this week.

The local musician, who was rained out for his scheduled Gulley Park Summer Concert Series performance earlier this month, will play a make-up show on Thursday, July 30.

Baber is well known around Fayetteville and the region for his unique blend of country and soul music. Recently, he’s written some recognizable local songs as well, including Arkansas – Get There From Here which won the recent Song of Arkansas songwriting contest, and a new Razorback Game Day song.

It’s the second-to-last free show in the park’s annual concert series. The final show is set for Thursday, Aug. 6 with 80s cover band, Fast Times.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket, and picnic dinners and refreshments are allowed as well.

As with all Gulley Park concerts, music begins around 7 p.m., and the shows are free and open to the public.
