Forbes last week included Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art on its list of “13 Art Trips You Need To Take.”

The list offers brief itineraries and suggestions on where to stay.

Other locations to make the list include the Louvre in Paris, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Bangkok, and the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City.

The Forbes Travel Guide editors called Crystal Bridges “one of the best museums you’ve never heard of,” while praising the museum’s grounds and its surrounding trails.

To continue the nature-art getaway, the editors suggested booking a room at Pratt Place Inn and Barn in Fayetteville. The four-star hotel is nestled on 140 acres of pasture and woodland near the University of Arkansas campus, and is just minutes from the city’s entertainment district, which includes a host of locally owned restaurants, bars and live music venues.

Pratt Place is also located only three miles from the Fayetteville square, which hosts a monthly art walk festival and includes several art destinations like Fayetteville Underground and the University of Arkansas’ sUgAR Gallery.
