Residents will have an opportunity this week to get a haircut from master stylist Patrick Lomantini while helping raise money for the Fayetteville Animal Shelter.

Lomantini will stop in Fayetteville on Thursday, Aug. 20 as part of the annual BarkAID tour, which travels to all 50 states to raise funds for animal shelters across the country.

The event runs from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Paul Mitchell School, 4156 N. Steele Blvd., according to a news release.

Organizers are asking for a $20 donation to receive a haircut. All proceeds will benefit the Fayetteville Animal Shelter.

The event will also include adoptable dogs, a bounce house, snow cones, music, and other activities.

To make an appointment, call the Paul Mitchell School at 479-442-5181 ext. 1.

For more information about the tour, visit barkaid.org/50-state-tour.
