Comedian and actress Iliza Shlesinger will perform at the University of Arkansas next week.
Shlesinger will appear at 8 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 7 at the Verizon Ballroom inside the UA Student Union.
The comedian was the winner of NBC’s Last Comic Standing in 2008, where she was and still is the youngest person, and only woman to ever win the competition.
Since then, she’s hosted a dating competition titled Excused and appeared in the 2013 film Paradise.
Shlesinger also released her second comedy special on Netflix titled Freezing Hot in January of this year, a follow up to her 2013 Netflix release, War Paint.
Her appearance in Fayetteville next week is part of her current tour to support the release of Freezing Hot.
The event is sponsored by University Programs, and is free to both students and the public.
