Some of you may have noticed an uptick in motorcycle traffic in Fayetteville last weekend.

Motorcycle enthusiasts from all over descended upon the city as part of the 16th annual Bikes, Blues & BBQ rally held Sept. 22-25 in Fayetteville and the surrounding region.

Though the exact number of attendees at the rally is impossible to determine, all indications are that this year’s event was as large as ever, with thousands of bikers packing the main venues in downtown Fayetteville, the Washington County Fairgrounds, and Baum Stadium.

Performers this year included Kansas City blues artist Samantha Fish, local songwriter (and contestant on NBC’s “The Voice”) Barrett Baber, Rockabilly wild man Jason D. Williams, and several other local and regional acts. Also, just up the road, several bikers attended the Kid Rock concert at the AMP.

There was a massive bike parade. Funnel cakes and turkey legs were consumed. And of course, there was plenty of barbecue to be had.

Our pal Clayton Taylor took plenty of photos of this year’s event. Check them out below.
